would definitely return here
Had a fantastic stay. The king room was spacious and tidy, featuring a private bathroom with shower and stocked with toiletries. Loved the view of Nanaimo harbour, and the small balcony was great for enjoying the ocean breeze. The dining at Minnoz was delicious, especially the eggs Benedict. Fitness centre was well-equipped. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The spacious room had a spectacular view of the marina, and the beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping was exceptional, especially Pam, who was friendly and welcoming, leaving a nice note. However, the room lacked a mini fridge, which would have been convenient, and the restaurant menu could use more variety beyond the usual hamburgers. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was quite pleasant and the staff were attentive throughout my stay.

The ocean view was stunning, but parking was inconvenient with luggage.

missingWrote a review on May 22ocean viewshower pressureparking issue
Staying on the 7th floor offered a solid partial ocean view, which added to the experience. The shower pressure was top-notch, ensuring a refreshing start to the day.
Parking in front of the lobby can be a real headache, as some cars linger for too long, complicating check-in. Noise from adjacent rooms can disrupt the peace, especially during late hours—definitely something to consider for light sleepers. Furthermore, the breakfast offers a more Canadian menu that might not cater to international tastes, but that's a personal preference rather than a flaw of the hotel.
